*What Models are suitable* All Models of Ocean TV are suitable for all of New Zealand's waters. The Optus C1 Satellite that is used by SkyTVNZ and FreeView NZ covers all of New Zealand with sufficient power for even the Ocean O32. Therefore every boat from 20' can now have crystal clear satellite television.
*What Channels can I receive* Currently their are two choices available for satellite television in New Zealand, FreeView NZ and SkyTV. FreeView NZ is Free to Air,no on going chargers once the system is setup. With Freeview you can access New Zealand's favourite television programmes and national radio, in crystal clear digital quality for free. You'll have access to a wide range of channels (shown right) and there are likely to be more channels in the future! Most also broadcast in HD format.
*SkyTV NZ* is Satellite Pay TV. A monthly fee is charged to access the channels. Sky offers a basic package, which can then have optional packages added. You can also watch all of the free-to-air channels including the major Freeview channels in crystal clear digital quality.
