Using the Ocean TV Test Riviera "MR Tennis" on water testing of the new Ocean TV O37 and O45M begins at RMYC Newport, Sydney. Testing includes 30 knot speeds, smooth and rough water, tight 360 degree turns, at anchor and on marina testing. Both antennas perform without fault from day one, but it is decided to install the very latest Pay TV Approved 10.7 LNB's sourced from Australia. Testing of the Ocean O32 Satellite Antenna in Victoria has been 100% successful. The O32 is the smallest Stabilised Marine Satellite TV Antenna on the Australian and New Zealand Market. Riviera Electronics signs as new Dealer for Ocean TV
R Electronics is the newest dealer to join the growing network of Ocean TV dealer/installers across Australia and New Zealand. Anything Marine fits first Ocean O37M in Auckland New Zealand
Ocean TV New Zealand Dealer Anything Marine Ltd, has fitted their first Ocean O37M to a Silverton 42 Flybridge cruiser in Auckland. The Ocean O37M has been fitted with both Australian and New Zealand satellite software, allowing the owner to select Optus D1 Satellite to track. Testing of the Ocean O37M with both SkyTV NZ and FreeView NZ, has been 100% successful, with the owner very satisfied. Ocean O32 Queensland Test Successful
Testing of the Ocean O32 Satellite Antenna on Queensland's Gold Coast has been 100% successful. The O32 has now been tested from the Victorian/South Australian Border to Gold Coast in Queensland, tracking Optus Satellites C1 and D3 which are used for Foxtel Services. A lot of interest was shown by both Boat Dealers and Installers who saw the Ocean O32, all remarked it would be ideal for use on the smaller sports cruiser that are main boats on the Gold Coast and Brisbane waterways. New Updated Firmware for O37M and O45M Antennas
Following further R & D of the Ocean TV Antennas in Australia, a new Firmware is now standard on all new O37M and O45M Antennas, as well as available as an upgrade to all previously installed O37M and O45M models. This upgrade has improved signal strength by up to 30% giving both antennas better tracking ability and larger regions they can now cover. The O45M now works perfectly at Hamilton Island in Queensland, and the during the very heavy rains in Sydney the O37M performed with next to no dropouts. No problems with Free to Air Stations on Ocean TV antennas
It has come to our attention other competing brands are experiencing problems receiving Free To Air Stations (Seven, Nine, TEN, ABC and SBS) when used with the Foxtel Pay TV. Ocean TV is not experiencing any problems receiving Free To Air Stations. Customers have been contacted by Ocean TV from North Queensland to the Victorian/South Australian Boarder and none have experienced any problems. 2010 July 17,
First Free to Air (VAST) Satellite TV System Installed
Mildura, Murray River Victoria. Ocean TV has installed their first VAST Free To Air Digital TV Satellite System. VAST is the Australian Governments Digital TV System, that gives Free to Air Digital to teh Australian Public. Installed on a Murray River House Boat, the system gives owner all of the Digital Stations available from ABC, SBS, T, 9 and 10, including HD Channels. All reports are the system is working 100% with a very happy House Boat owner now having every Free to Air Station to watch. Ocean TV O32 and O45M Sold Out
Due to very high demand in NSW and Queensland current stock of the Ocean TV O32 and Ocean TV O45M have been sold out. New stock of the O45M is due 28th September and stock of the O32 not until November. The Ocean O37M is still in stock with new stock arriving 28th October. Six Ocean TV Antennas SOLD in one week
Ocean TV last week sold six antennas, 2 x O32, 3 x O37M and 1 x O45M, valued at $23,000 retail. In additional five of the six customers chose to add the Ocean TV IR Extender Kit to their system. First Ocean TV Antenna Sold for VAST System
Ocean TV's first antenna a Ocean O37M has been sold to a South Australian House Boat Customer for use with the Australian Governments VAST Free to Air Satellite TV System. VAST allows Free to Air Digital Channels, ABC , SBS , 7, 9 and 10 to be received once a VAST Compatible Receiver has been purchased. Over the Easter Holiday Period, the Ocean TV Test boat "MR Tennis" a Riviera Flybridge joined the RMYC Broken Bay Timber Boat Division for a cruise to the Colo River some 50nm inland on the Hawkesbury River system. "This was a great test for the Ocean TV O37M Antenna fitted to MR Tennis" ................explained Mark Rothwell Senior Partner of MR Marine - Ocean TV.
